Meet The Team...
Team 5418, "The Sonic Screwdrivers", is a FIRST Robotics team from Hubbard, Ohio. The 2014-2015 season; "Recycle Rush", was their rookie year. The team kicked off their legacy by attending the 2015 Buckye Regional Competition in Cleveland, Ohio. While at this competition, the team quickly learned what FIRST is really like. It's hard to describe in one word- amazing comes close. Every team member agrees that it was tiring, but it was an experience they wouldn't trade for anything else. All the friendly teams, people, and volunteers at any FIRST event are truly awesome. At the Buckeye Regional, together with making life-long memories, the team also earned an award- the Rookie All-Star award. This award qualifies a team for the World Championship Competition. The team is very excited to compete in this competition, and more updates will be posted soon!
